found out that Ak can't access my guestbook from his company server. the message he gets:

note: from my pool of very very limited technical knowledge, guestbooks run on CGI programs, which use the processing power of the server they are running on. so the strain can be quite big if too many people are running CGI programs at the same time - which is why i have to use dreambook.com to run my guestbook cos geocities.com would not allow it. and some companies prohibit the running of CGI programs due to the security leaks from badly written programs.

techies: correct me if i'm wrong, okay. then i go hide my face under my pillow. ;)
