The
FEER this week puts North Korea under the microscope, tracing the state's
arms trade with the rest of the world. among
others, Libya recently bought 50 Rodong-1 missiles with a range of 1,000
kilometres and the tamil tigers from sri lanka rides on naval speed
boats from N.Korea.Other countries' investments in N. korea include
rice, rubber, hotel chains and so on. and what does singapore has to
offer?
Of
course, the Garden City will help plant 80 million paulownia trees on
20,000 hectares of N korea's state-owned land. The Singapore Conferderation
of Industry sent a delegation up, tho not much is expected to come out
of that one. very interesting. if it weren't so late now (2am), i might
try to think of sth we cld invest in..
the
full report
but
i did a search on paulownia trees.and there's an entire website on paulownia
trees!!
