20.10.2001 Molokai: The Story of Father Damien A true story: Belgian priest devotes his own life to help lepers evicted to the island of Molokai in 1800s.people and the government were ignorant abt disease and hence he received little help. father damien eventually contacted the disease and died on the island, a hero. i did a self-censorship of my personal feelings abt the disease and movie. all politically incorrect and should not be in public space. nevertheless, a good movie. an inspiring tear jerker. |
